Situated on the splendid beach of Boa Vista in Cape Verde, and next to the fishing port, the Hotel Luca Kalema offers stunning views of the heavenly Playa de Tortugas (turtle beach).
The rooms at the Hotel Luca Kalema are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The fact that there are only a few, makes the hotel an intimate place which is perfect for enjoying the beach it is situated on as well as sun and nature as a couple or with friends.
In the morning, you can savour the varied range of cuisine on offer at the buffet restaurant as you enjoy the gentle sea breeze. This region is ideal for water sports such as wind surfing, surfing and diving thanks to the excellent sea conditions.
Considering this region’s desert-like appearance it’s hard to believe that these shores were once covered in vegetation. However recurring droughts and a poor agricultural policy have reduced Boa Vista and its Cape Verdean sisters to a dry, almost lunar landscape. Nonetheless, it hasn’t stopped the island being full of locations with spectacular beaches such as the Playas de las Tortugas (turtle beaches), Chaves beach, Santa Monica beach and the cemetery of dolphins. You mustn’t miss the various excursions you can go on in the vicinity of the ClubHotel or places such as the desert of Viana, Rabil, Sal Rei and Chaves beach.
The Hotel Luca Kalema is a refreshing oasis in the middle of Boa Vista’s desert landscape.
