| To the South of Cadiz and washed by the Atlantic Ocean, the Chiclana coast has beaches of dunes and fine sands, green pine forests and salt marshes of great ecological value. It forms part of the Gulf of Cadiz Natural Park, a protected area with small natural reserves, lagoons likes those of Jeli and Montellano, vineyards, oak stands, and meadows inland. Chiclana town is 6 km from the coast and has all amenities and public and social services, with interesting monuments, a shopping centre, markets, arts and crafts, wine cellars and restaurants. |
