Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico

The truth is it was a wonderful experience since the facilities, the food, the drinks, and the shows were luxurious!!! The service from the staff was also incredible; I believe few hotels can have this exceptional service. The best part was the RIU party, which, although we had to travel to another RIU hotel, was part of the experience, since the hotel provided round-trip transportation. Also, the best restaurant was the Asadero, with lobster and top-notch cuts! It is truly worth it!!

The good: The food is delicious, the service in the restaurants is good, the hotel is pretty and comfortable. The bad: No one received our vehicle, they gave us the room 1 hour after check-in, not until after 4 pm, and we received our luggage late, almost at 5 pm. At American Country it took them 15 minutes just to take our order, a rude bartender saying that "it wasn't her job to do it but she would do it anyway"; she herself at the Bolero bar the second night, when asked about the variety of whiskey they had, just replied "the same ones," she does everything reluctantly and with a bad attitude, there are two other bartenders who won't even look at you if you aren't a foreigner. Others are very kind, of course, the rooms don't have a good view, the pool closes very early at 7 pm, the drink service at the pool is extremely slow, it seems they have few staff. In general, I consider that it is not worth it for the price we paid since it is not that different from Secrets Vallarta Bay or for a little more we could have returned to Secrets Punta Mita. I think we lost a large part of our first day because they gave us the room 1 hour late, it is uncomfortable to hear the workers complain or even have them treat you badly because they are in a bad mood.
