How to get a Riu Class Gold cardClose

To obtain the Riu Class Gold card, the cardholder and each of the beneficiaries registered in the account must collect 1600 points per person during a period of 2 consecutive years for stays completed, booked and paid. You can check your status above and view detailed information on points obtained in My Points.
How to maintain a Riu Class Gold cardClose

To retain your Riu Class Gold card, you and each and every one of the beneficiary members of your account, must have collected a minimum of 3200 points per person during a period of 2 consecutive years for stays completed, booked and paid. The review to determine if status will be retained is performed two years after reaching the level in question, in other words, the check-out date on which the status was achieved.

How to get a Riu Class Diamond cardClose

To maintain your card status, for both Riu Class Gold and Riu Class Diamond cards, you must fulfil certain requirements. You can view these requirements in How to retain the Riu Class Gold card or How to retain the Riu Class Diamond card. Check that all reservations made are correctly registered for the people who travelled in My Reservations.

Modify my details
Change addressClose
Access your member's area with your Riu Class number and password, in the top right section of the page, to manage your Riu Class account.
To modify your details go to My details, modify the details you'd like to change and save the changes. You can view and modify the details of your beneficiaries in My beneficiaries.
Change email addressClose
It is possible to change your email address by accessing your member's area, but if you have changed your address and don't have a password to access your member's area, send us your new email address by completing the form below:

Points can only be collected for visits made after your registration date in the Riu Class system. As an exception, you may register visits you made up to 6 months before becoming a Riu Class member. You can register your next visit in Link a reservation to my account. The points will be added automatically 7 days after check-out. If you don't register your next visit, you'll need to identify yourself with your Riu Class number at check-in.

Points are awarded to Riu Class members when they stay in Riu Hotels (per person and night).
If you travelled with your partner or children between 2 and 18 years, and they are already beneficiary members of your account, you can add your points in Add members to a reservation. You can add beneficiaries in Add beneficiary.
If you travelled with children over 18, other family members (parents, in-laws...) or friends, the points cannot be linked to your account. They must become members of Riu Class to collect Riu Class points and can then transfer the points between your accounts if they wish.
Exchange of points incorrectClose

Exchanges of points reflected in your account statement are points used to pay additional charges during your visits, such as drinks, telephone, etc. The hotel must provide an invoice at check-out indicating the amount and points exchanged

Points collected expire 2 years after the check-out date of your last visit, if you have not registered any visits in your Riu Class account. From the 1st of January 2013 the points have an expiration date of 4 years.

Reservations
How do i make a reservationClose
Access your member's area with your Riu Class number and password, in the top right section of the page, to manage your Riu Class account.
To make a reservation, you must choose a country, destination, dates, etc. in the form on the left entitled Book Hotel and click on Search. The system will provide you with the best rates taking into account the points balance you have available or those you'd like to exchange.
How do i cancel my reservationsClose
Access your member's area with your Riu Class number and password, in the top right section of the page, to manage your Riu Class account.
To cancel a reservation made on Riu Class (the booking reference starts with WRC), go to My Reservations and click on Cancel in the appropriate reservation.
To cancel a reservation made on Riu Hotels (the booking reference starts with RNT) call us on 00 52 998 287 3787 (América) or 00 34 871 966296 (rest of the world).
To cancel all other reservations, you must contact your travel agent.

How to collect pointsClose

To collect Riu Class points you must register your visits in My Reservations, or mention your Riu Class number at check-in on all your visits, and the points will be assigned automatically 7 days after check-out. You can go to Points statement to check your points.
How to exchange pointsClose

You can exchange your points for additional charges such as telephone usage, safe hire, minibar or laundry expenses, in which case the value of each point will be €0.025 or its equivalent in the local currency. At several Riu hotels it is also possible to use your points to purchase items or obtain discounts on their price in the Riu shops. To do so, you must provide your Riu Class number at the hotel reception.
You can put your points towards stays by reserving your holidays on www.riuclass.com, by either exchanging your points for stays or using the points + cash formula. The system will always display the best option for you based on the points you have available.
You can also use your points for a room upgrade or late check-out, subject to the hotel's availability. To do so, you must request a desire in My Reservations.
How many points to collectClose

Depending on the destination you visit, hotel category and tourist season, you will collect points per night and per member of your Riu Class account staying. You can check your beneficiary members in My beneficiaries. You can calculate how many points you'll collect in Points simulator.
Collect points on eating and drinkingClose
Currently, points cannot be collected on consumption at the hotel. In Riu Class you will collect points per night and per person staying registered as a beneficiary member in your Riu Class account. It doesn't matter who makes the booking, where they made it or how they paid for it.
Points from my friendsClose
You can only collect points per beneficiary registered in your Riu Class account. Your friends can register on Riu Class to collect their own points and then transfer them*.
*Transferred points are not taken into account for the calculation to determine status.
Points from my family membersClose

To request a replacement card, first you must check your postal address in My Details, and then go to Request a replacement.
When will i receive my cardClose
Access your member's area with your Riu Class number and password, in the top right section of the page, to manage your Riu Class account.
Riu Class cards are processed 4 weeks after a visit is registered in your account and has been completed (in check-out status). To check if you have registered a visit in your account, go to My reservations. If you have not registered any visits, you must link your reservation to your account.
If you already have a reservation registered, check that over 6 weeks have passed since your departure from the hotel. If this is the case, it is possible that a problem has occurred and you will have to Request a replacement. If fewer than 6 weeks have passed, please wait another few weeks. If you visit another Riu hotel, you simply need to link your reservation to your account, or provide your Riu Class number at check-in.
New cardClose

To request a replacement card, first you must check your postal address in My Details, and then go to Request a replacement.
Card expiryClose
The Riu Class card does not expire, however if no movements have been registered in your account for 4 years, your Riu Class account will be cancelled, and you will not receive any more communications or offers of any type. If you return to one of our hotels you'll need to use your Riu Class number to reactivate your account and receive points.

How to send an special requestClose

To send an special request to a hotel, you must first check that the reservation has been linked to a Riu Class account in My Reservations. If the reservation appears on the list in My Reservations, click on Send special request.
If it does not appear in My Reservations, you must link the reservation to your account.
