Torrox - Málaga

On the side of the Almijara mountain range is this wonderful, triangular-shaped village. Its base is the coast, the eastern side is profiled by the mountains that separate it from Frigiliana and the western side winds along the ravine that runs down to Lagos. Torrox has over 8 kms. of beach, distributed between El Morche, El Faro, Peñoncillo and Calaceite. They are all sandy and extremely clean. It vast cultural legacy can be witnessed in the old quarter, a good example of an Andalusian village with Moorish architecture.
