How can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation through the website or by calling our call center.
.Why do I get a higher rate when I price a single person in the room?
The rooms are based on either double occupancy and single. All of our promotions are quoted based on the double occupancy and per person per night but when the room is occupied by only one person this price is higher, maybe even double.
When I make a reservation, is my credit card charged right away?
By general policy the credit card is given as a guarantee and the payment is completed upon arrival to the hotel. In case of no-show or cancellation within the limit we charge one night. However, for hotels in Mexico we may a apply a 25% penalty for cancellations any time for the Christmas week.
Can I prepay the reservation?
Unfortunately at this time we don’t have an option to prepay the reservation completely when booking directly with the call centre or through our website www.riu.com
Do I need to bring my confirmation voucher to check-in?

Does the credit card have to be from the person who travels?
The credit card doesn’t have to be from the person travelling but it’s important to mention that in case of no show or cancellation penalties the credit card given will be used for the charge.
Prices have dropped since I made my reservation. Can you adjust the prices?

Yes, simply reserve either on riu.com or through our toll free numbers and contact us at reservations05@riu.com with your confirmation number and the quote obtained through the Travel Agency. The price match is subject to revision and it’s not guaranteed at the time you call but once approved will be reflected on your reservation and a new one updated will be sent to your email.
If for any reason it is not approved you will have the option of cancelling without any penalties.
