Wonderful beaches, especially those in Varadero, are a good enough reason to visit Cuba. This country's shores are great for many things, from watersports to relaxing under a palm tree whilst sipping away a mojito.

But there is much more to Cuba than the turquoise sea and white sand. Havana, with its vibrant streets and elegant buildings, is a must. Other cities like Matanzas and Trinidad, full of colonial charm, are also well worth a stop.

Going inland will lead you off the beaten track: Monumental mountain ranges, hidden valleys, thick forests and beautiful farming fields.

Cubans pride themselves in their hospitality. Everywhere you go, you will always be met with a friendly smile. This in itself makes any visit to this country a pleasant experience.
