As you know, RIU is always renewing itself, a factor that we also apply to the entertainment provided in our hotels and which is designed for you to enjoy your stay to the full. Did you know that we run training courses for our entertainment staff? This time the two locations chosen for hosting them were Gran Canaria and Cabo Verde.<\/p>\n

\"These<\/a>

These training courses are attended by our entertainment staff, training managers and instructors.<\/p><\/div>\n

Workers and trainers got together for these courses. The activities ran for 10 days in each destination. The subjects covered during this time included new projects for the future and various changes to shows and programmes, exchanging ideas and experiences along with many other things! The objective? That you enjoy every summer with something a little bit different and, even though you might go back to your favourite hotel, we continue to surprise you.<\/p>\n

The training courses represent a change to the activities in our hotels<\/h2>\n

The training sessions in Gran Canaria<\/a> involved a variety of classes and group dynamics in each and every category of RIU entertainment! We covered every last item! Specifically, we worked on a new show entitled Sketches which arose from a collaboration between the instructors and the entertainment managers.<\/p>\n

The theatre training sessions worked on new scripts in order to create Sketches.<\/p><\/div>\n

Another area worked on in depth was RiuFit<\/strong>, which involved a review of all of the most important programme elements such as Health in the Sun, Health by Moonlight, Aquagym and Healthy Back. The aim of these activities, which feature at some of our hotels, is for you to be able to continue with and improve your exercise routines during the time you spend with us. We achieve this by letting you dictate the intensity of the exercises you take part in.<\/p>\n

In addition to our daytime entertainment, another of the things we wanted to work on was our night offering, given that our evening shows are among our strong points. That\u2019s why we have some good news for you! Over these training days, our choreographers worked on creating a show called \u201cTribute to the Earth\u201d <\/strong>that will soon be coming to our hotels. You are going to love it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

The programme was a little different in the case of Cabo Verde as we were more focussed on improving our activity programmes and reviewing the concepts and tools used in team leadership. All this was also combined with group dynamics and recreational classes.<\/h5>\n

RiuLand is full of new developments for this year<\/h2>\n

As you know, we also take care of how the younger members of the family relax and switch off, which is why we have also been working on the RiuLand<\/a> <\/strong>concept over this time. This has led to renewing and reinforcing the activities and entertainment programme for youngsters.<\/p>\n

This was the choreography rehearsal for the new Riuland Pop Party.<\/p><\/div>\n

What new developments will your children discover? A new theme day related to the world of music has been created entitled \u201cMusicLand<\/strong>\u201d. We have also developed new RiuLand Parties such as the Riuland Pirate Party and the Riuland Pop Party Pop<\/strong>. Do you remember Cal\u00fa? Well this year our favourite turtle is going to be meeting new friends. Make sure the little ones don\u2019t miss out on \u201cCal\u00fa and Pokapok\u2019s Crazy Race\u201d.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
