The summer has ended and it is now time to get out our winter wardrobe: jackets, coats and all our clothes to protect us from the cold. The same thing happens when it comes to choosing our holidays: we need to find the ideal destination and swap the beach for the mountains.<\/p>\n

We suggest you visit Mallorca, a place which offers a wide range of tourist activities, although this time we are going to tell you about the fantastic hiking trails that will show you another side to the island.<\/p>\n

Three unmissable trips to take in Mallorca in November:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Cam\u00ed de Sa Foradada<\/h3>\n

The Sa Foradada trek is a classic Mallorcan mountain trail. This is a perfect trip for all ages. The route starts in the Son Marroig estate from where you take a downhill walk which has a wide pathway in good condition. But don’t forget you will need to walk back up again!<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Little by little the trip will take you further into the mountains where you will stroll through countryside mainly populated by pine trees wafting their mountain scent. Once you have passed this inner stretch of the walk it will open out onto fantastic sea views while we border the mountain. Truly wonderful!<\/p>\n

The trip takes a little over an hour and finishes up in a beautiful rocky cove with crystal clear waters. It’s well worth it!<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Sa Costera trek<\/h3>\n

If we want to take a slightly more strenuous walk you could try out the Sa Costera trail in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. It begins at the Mirador de Ses Barques where you can enjoy unique views of the Mediterranean sea and take your first photograph of the day.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

The final destination is the famous Cala Tuent cove which is surrounded by a mountainous landscape of unparalleled beauty. The trip has several uphill and downhill stretches and takes roughly four hours one way. We suggest that once you reach the cove you can have a delicious lunch and then take a bus back. The highway is like a scalextric track!<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Castell del Rei<\/h3>\n

Another famous island excursion is the Castell Del Rei route in the town of Pollensa. It is one of the three rocky fortresses on the island and has been listed as a Site of Cultural Interest.<\/p>\n

It is perched at the top of a mountain and boasts spectacular views of Pollen\u00e7a, Alcudia and of course the sea!<\/p>\n

The route to get there is beautiful and takes approximately three and a half hours from Pollensa.<\/p>\n
