2023 was full of new things for RIU Hotels & Resorts<\/a>, and 2024 is sure to follow its example. Without a doubt, one of the most notable was the comprehensive refurbishment of the Riu Palace Pacifico<\/a>, in Nayarit. The launch of the Elite Club service and the hotel’s conversion into an Adults Only resort were accompanied by major changes in terms of design and decoration. Lobby <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lobby, the first space that guests enjoy in the hotel, preserves the sophistication that characterises the Riu Palace Pacifico, but the new design features the use of light colours. The most outstanding original elements from before the refurbishment, including the pillars and the beautiful stained glass window in the ceiling, have been preserved and enhanced. They are now combined with a modern and simple look that brings elegance and light to the entire space.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Lobby Bar is now located in the centre, giving the area even more energy and life.<\/p>\n

Rooms <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is another major change that our guests will appreciate. Soft, elegant tones take centre stage, and there is more natural light to create a relaxing atmosphere for the guests. The original furnishings have been retained, but they have been given a new look by simplifying the original ornamental elements and combining them with modern, simple finishes.<\/p>\n

Lobby bar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former lobby bar has been transformed into the Elite Club Lounge, so guests can enjoy the new lobby bar located in the centre of the lobby itself. The lobby has been adapted to the decoration and new style of the Riu Palace Pacifico, where the colours black, white and gold predominate, creating striking contrasts.<\/p>\n

Restaurants <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design and decoration of all the restaurants have also undergone a complete revamp, now boasting a completely different style. The main buffet has moved away from reds and darker tones to more subdued colours. More greenery has been added and the space is flooded with natural light from the large windows. The buffet area has also been separated from the table area, making the restaurant more functional and comfortable for guests.<\/p>\n

Swimming pools <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the outdoor area of the Riu Palace Pacifico, we have gone from one large pool to a total of three, thereby breaking up the space into three areas with different purposes. One pool is for entertainment, another has a Pool Bar, and the third is designed for guests to relax in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
