The 14th of July 2024 will forever remain in the memory of Spanish sport, as it is the magical day on which the Spanish national football team was proclaimed European champion for the fourth time in its history. And where did this feat take place? Well, no more and no less than in the capital of Germany: Berlin!<\/p>\n

Today we want you to put on your football jersey and join us on a football-themed tour through the wonderful streets of the German capital. Are you coming?<\/p>\n

What can’t you miss if you go to Berlin?<\/span><\/h1>\n

Germany was in constant party mode during the months of June and July, with thousands of football fans flooding the streets and cities of the country. And Berlin was no exception.<\/p>\n

The metropolis was decked out in its finest to welcome all the intrepid fans who came to experience the European football festival in person. Berlin was the media epicentre, not only with the various matches held there, but also thanks to the activities organised by the city that made it a very special place to spend a few days.<\/p>\n

We start our particular tour in the Reichstag, the German parliament. A fan zone was set up there during the competition where you could enjoy all the matches in the best possible way. Besides the food and drink area, there were various football-related activities where you could win prizes and, above all, have an unforgettable experience. And best of all? The views of the magnificent Reichstag, which is free to visit! Inside you can soak up Germany’s recent history and, of course, enjoy breathtaking views of the city from the glass dome that towers over the building, designed by the prestigious British architect Norman Foster.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Right next to it, the symbol of the city par excellence, the Brandenburg Gate, greets you with its imposing presence. Located along the length and breadth of the monument was fanmeile<\/em>, Fan Avenue. Thousands of fans gathered there to watch their favourite team’s matches on giant screens. On the other side of the stadium, there were also several improvised television sets from various European television stations, which were broadcasting from there. With a little luck, you could get a selfie<\/em> with one of your former idols who is now working as a sports commentator.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

To finish our \u00a0football<\/em> tour, we can’t miss out the stage for the final: the Olympiastadion. This venue is classified as a UEFA category 4 stadium, ranking it among the top stadiums in Europe. It is no coincidence that it has been the scene of such iconic moments as the 1936 Olympic Games and the 2006 World Cup final.<\/p>\n

At this time of the year, we couldn’t leave without giving you a tip for the summer: the Olimpiapark swimming pool. This hidden gem is none other than the Olympic pool that was used for the 1936 Olympics and now serves as a public pool. Bathing in a place that oozes history is an experience well worth the effort.<\/p>\n
