There are places that give off a special aroma in every corner. That’s the case of the Costa del Sol, the coastal part of the lovely province of M\u00e1laga. The Mediterranean beats against a long coastline on which we are present with three hotels. Today we want to tell you about Nerja, where our Hotel Riu Monica is found.<\/p>\n

If you visit Nerja, you’ll be able to contemplate in person the beauty of the typical architecture of southern Spain, where white is the predominant colour of the buildings. In the centre of this pretty town, you’ll find the church of El Salvador and the City Hall, practically facing one another and located very near the Balc\u00f3n de Europa, or Balcony of Europe. It’s a small square with views of the sea and the beaches of Nerja, from which you can contemplate the crystalline blue of the waters of this place.<\/p>\n

In Nerja you can’t pass up the opportunity to stroll along its spectacular coastline to the Mirador del Bendito, passing by the numerous lovely coves that appear one alongside the other. You also have to visit the Cueva de Nerja, a complex of caverns declared a Historical Artistic Monument and the fourth most-visited natural landmark in all of Spain.<\/p>\n
