"The RIU Is Incredible Again."

My wife and I are wrapping up a 4 night stay at the RIU Palace Baja California and we we were very impressed with the facility, service, food and atmosphere. We were treated exceptionally every day. We splurged for the Elite Club and it was well worth it. The Elite Restaurant is fantastic. The food the service and atmosphere is wonderful. Our room - 1233 which comes as a benefit of the Elite Club provided an excellent view. And housekeeping is excellent. Room was quiet and comfortable. The Elite bars both inside and outside were very clean and professional. The drinks were EXCELLENT! Our bartenders are to be commended- especially Jesus and Alverado - I hhope I spelled it correctly. Check in could not be simpler. We will remain loyal RIU customers Thank you for another wonderful stay!

"It’s giving motel 6 vibes"

Would not stay here again. Air conditioning is terrible, fridge didn’t keep drinks cold. Called customer services multiple times. Food is absolutely AWFUL. No choices during the day except grilled food, I can buy canned cheese at Walmart. Do not use the free shuttle service. Unless you want to spend almost 2hrs back to the airport. For supposedly being the top tier RIU resort I would highly disagree. I’ve stayed at better air bnbs. Longest 4 nights ever. Cabo is great, this resort is not. Cold mushy food, chunky cheese. Same thing every single day. Service was subpar. No one seemed to care to be there.
