On the west coast of the African continent set on a long beach with crystal-clear waters and stunning ocean views, we can find the Hotel Riu Baobab. It is located in a tourist area close to the city of M’bour in the region of Thiès, with an excellent connection to Blaise Diagne airport.

The Hotel Riu Baobab is set in the middle of a desert-like landscape with authentic and wild surroundings, and offers all kinds of amenities and services so you can relax by the Atlantic and enjoy an all-inclusive holiday in the African savanna.
Food
Senegalese cuisine includes a large amount of local produce, with a number of dishes with influences from other countries such as France, Portugal and other North African countries. Meals are based on rice, millet or couscous with chicken or fish. What’s more, thanks to the county’s location you will be able to enjoy a large amount of seafood in its restaurants.
We recommend enjoying African flavours and trying some typical Senegalese dishes such as thiéboudienne (which is considered the national dish), yassa au poisson or maafe. You should order bassi-salté, a local couscous, to go with these meals.
