With a heart full of gratitude 🙏 Thanks to this wonderful hotel for being more than a place to stay. Here we found a refuge, a temporary home where every corner speaks of peace, care, and blessing. Thanks to each of its workers. It is clear that they serve with their soul. In their smile, in their kindness, in every detail, we felt the presence of God through you. Thank you for making us feel important, for the patience, for the warmth, and for treating us like family. Thank you for the comfort of your facilities, for the spaces that filled our spirit with tranquility, and for the cleanliness and order that speak of the love with which you care for this place. May God bless this hotel, may He multiply the work of every person who works here, and may it continue to be a place where people not only stay, but recharge their souls. Let it be said upfront that it is not a five-star hotel (three at most). The dining is typical of a school camp. They advertise four à la carte restaurants for dinner: false. Except for the self-proclaimed gourmet (sic), the Milan (Italian) and the Gehisa (Oriental) ended up surrendering to the Buffet. Both constitute a more than dispensable experience. Regarding the Steak House, it was impossible to try it (it was always full). The Moctezuma restaurant (buffet) has the quality expected of a restaurant of this type: abundance and lack of quality. The staff (with more than honorable exceptions) seems focused on hoarding tips (it seems like an American custom to which they have adapted very well). By not tipping, the treatment leaves something to be desired. It is not about being obsequious, it is about doing your job. In fact (perhaps I am very sensitive), I had the feeling, at times, of being a teenager trying to consume more than I should. An individual, who I assume was in charge, treated you with condescension and replaced the required kindness (at least certain manners) with an "I'm in charge here" air that especially irritated me. I do not want to go into specific details, but I cannot omit their conviction that red wine is served at room temperature (in the Caribbean): someone should explain to them that the ambient temperature is that of the cellar, from 14 to 16 degrees Celsius. As for the room, ours had an unusable terrace, saturated as it was by the smell of food from the restaurants. The drink is not replenished: I had a shot of tequila the first few nights, then it ran out and there was no replenishment. From the minibar, I think we consumed three or four beers in seven days. To finish, we had to pay 540 pesos to use the room for three more hours (check-out is at twelve): they did not compensate us for the hours we did not use it when we arrived (about four hours). In short, if you are between 18 and 25 years old, you can enjoy this place. From age 26 on, it can be a traumatic experience: binge-drinking tourism, legal-age teenagers, etc.
