Hotel Riu Dubai 4*

The rooms and food were very good, and we enjoyed our stay overall. However, there were two issues that affected our experience. First, there was no hairdryer in the room, and unfortunately, even after requesting one from reception, I never received it. Second, we were staying as two families, and the waterpark was the main attraction for the children. When booking through the app, I couldn’t find any information stating that the waterpark is closed every Monday for weekly maintenance. As a result, the children were very disappointed, as this was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. It would be helpful if such important information were clearly communicated during the booking process to avoid disappointing guests, especially families travelling with children.

Housekeeping stole $300 usd worth of items out my room. Police came and reviewed the cameras with security and myself. We all saw housekeeping walk out with the items. Police did not file the report and the hotel said it was a mistake and it’s nothing they can do. The staff and security are dishonest and inconsiderate. DON’T stay at this place.
