Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin

We have stayed at Riu Gresham a few times before, the previous time to our August 26 trip was after Christmas. We had a a near perfect time in August 26, we had a little issue in the breakfast room, being shower to our seat, and no one come and offered us a coffee or tea, there was at least 7 members of staff standing in front of us. I didn’t make a fuss, but on the way out I mentioned it to a staff member on the way out. I have been a diamond member and stayed at a lot of Riu hotels all over the world. I Expected more. Now with all the exceptional things with the hotel. Reception staff have always been excellent in every visit I have encountered at Riu Gresham. Especially Yaiza, who checked us in, and I dealt with this lovely cheerful, mindful, courageous, wonderful, helpful young lady, when I had to go to reception again, and absolutely dream to deal with, after I’d binned my return plane tickets by mistake, she printed them out for me, with the lovely man, who helped too( Joseph). I was given my favourite room 400 , same room as last time. The room was lovely & clean the maid did her job perfectly. We went in the main bar for a drink, and the waitress was polite, welcoming, even taking us to the proper restaurant, ( did main meal food) once again very kind. We are in the master m restaurant for 2 evening meals, the staff were nice , Toddy’s, the food was hot, plenty of it, and a great choice, we were so impressed, we went back the 2nd night. All in all a very very good trip , we will be back. Thankyou

We have had a very nice stay! The staff was very friendly, the breakfast nice and the room spacious. In the bathroom was body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. We slept on the 2nd floor right next to the ice machine. Guests came to get ice cream at 3 am (!) or walked down the hallway talking loudly. The hotel can't do anything about that of course, but the fellow guests should take this more into account.
