"Nice vacation but not as it was presented to us."
The photos on the website are old, the hotel has been recently renovated, the changes are not the height of perfection. Unfortunately, the rooms are not very clean, a bit small regarding space. They have added a new bar, which I must say is good. The ground floor rooms echo with any noise, even simple footsteps, making it difficult to sleep. We had to change rooms and hotels, we went to the Riu Cabo Verde, definitely better. Omar Cantoro, the Italian deputy director, helped us a lot and made our vacation wonderful by transferring us to the hotel next door at no extra charge, providing us with maximum comfort, such as proximity to the beach and dining room. He is a very nice person, always attentive and close to our needs, I highly recommend contacting him at the reception if you have any issues to resolve, he is great! As for the food, it is excellent, with daily checks by the food control staff on the quality and freshness of the food. The beach is about 200-300 meters on foot, it takes about 25 minutes to walk to Santa Maria or 5 minutes by taxi. The sunbeds are broken and have torn fabric, without umbrellas, the beach is a bit dirty.

Clean hotel , lovely staff However as soon has you step foot outside the hotel there is people everywhere trying to get money off you We tried to go to the beach and seven people crowded us to try and get us to buy stuff we felt really intimidated and never left the hotel again for the whole of our visit
