"Amazing holiday at Riu palace punta cana"

Amazing holiday at Riu palace punta cana. This is the second time at this hotel, july 2023 and june 2026, we are a family of 6 adults. Drive up to this hotel gives you the wow factor, none of the other Riu hotels look half as good. Rooms are dated but clean. No mould in our room and checked mattresses in all 3 rooms. No problems at all. Food was very good, highly recommend steak all la carte, we went 6 times as we enjoyed it so much, Fillet steak and the ribs were a big hit, The italian was also a favourite. Coffee shop was nice and real cheesecake so that is recommended. Entertainment was a little lacking with singers miming, Michael Jackson show, Divas show were good. We did do white and pink parties which were fun. Kahoot is good fun. Staff were the highlight of this hotel, restaurant staff and Bar staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially Marcos who works so hard and always a big smile. One of the reasons we came back to this hotel. Trips, we did the Bavaro adventure park but booked on get your guide sooo much cheaper for full package and picked up from resort. We did saona island with scuba caribe which i highly recommend, we went vip but to be honest wasnt worth the difference in price as we only got to sit on a different table with what looked like chopped Crab sticks definitely was not lobster. Dont book with people on the beach as we did 3 years ago to saona its so unorganised and they will drive you 2 hours to a random shop to basically rip you off then drop you at a service station to be picked up for the remainder of the journey then cram you with hundreds of other people to travel on boat. Awful experience and no drinks included.

"Hotel Rui punta can"

Very dissappointed worst Rui hotel we have stayed in customer service was emailed way in advance by family to say it was our 54 th wedding anniversary but did not acknowledge it how disappointing we are Rui members always use the hotels worldwide couldn’t even offer us a welcome drink on arrival how poor is that.
