"Lovely family vacation"

We stayed from June 27-July 4 2026. We had adjoining rooms with our two teenagers. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, AC worked great! Our fridge was always stocked with pop, water, and beer. We enjoyed the buffet and the food at the specialty restaurants. It was easy to get into the specialty restaurants, we ate between 6-6:30 each night. The beach has plenty of loungers, quite a bit of natural shade with palm trees. Seaweed wasn’t terrible when we were there, there was a lot of sediment in the water making it murky but not unswimmable. The pool was VERY warm most days by afternoon so a refreshing swim in the ocean helped. The nightly entertainment didn’t start until 9:30, we couldn’t find much to do between dinner and the shows. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort is large so be prepared to do alot of walking. We had fun at the water park with the kids.

"Perfect Stay"

Our stay at the RIU Palace Bávaro was wonderful! The resort is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds, spacious rooms, and a stunning beach that made it easy to relax. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and worked hard to ensure guests had a great experience. We especially enjoyed the variety of pools, entertainment, and dining options. While some meals were better than others, there was always something to enjoy. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing vacation, and we would definitely consider staying here again.
