Hotel Riu Palace Tikida Agadir

Amazing experience all round with very little to complain about!

This is a lovely hotel where all the staff are so helpful, friendly and just want you to have a great relaxing holiday. We stayed for 2 weeks and paid for a Junior Suite with Sea View and this was well worth the extra cost. Room very spacious with a very comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe and storage space along with a large well furnished balcony with a great view. Our room was immaculately maintained by Ibbittsam who always greeted us with a smile. The Le Santal Main restaurant opened for breakfast and evening dining with the range of options to suit all sorts of diets. Only minor complaint is no vinegar for the chips. Tables are cleared quickly and nothing is too much trouble. Lunchtime food is served in the poolside restaurant which doubles up as the Steakhouse at night. Again the lunchtime food selection was changed on a regular basis and the cakes were just so delicious. In terms of the speciality restaurants Krystal Marrakech feel like true restaurants and the food was good. The Steakhouse has the most attentive service but as it is just part of a bigger restaurant, it lacks a little in atmosphere; the food however was well cooked. Special mention about the forever smiling Soukaina and Nora who looked after us at breakfast and lunchtime - both a credit to the hotel though all the other waiters and waitresses were also very good. The pool was large and although there were a couple of days of sunbeds being reserved at silly times of the morning towards the end of the first week, things settled down after and there wasn't a problem getting a sunbed. It was good to see parasols being removed from reserved beds where there had been nobody using the bed since they put their towels down (for a few hours). So in summary a great hotel and lovely surroundings and on the sea-front which enabled you to just walk out onto the long and flat promenade and very sandy beach.
