"A lovely holiday"
We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Rui Monica, our favourite in the Riu chain. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to help with any request. The rooms are spacious and kept immaculately clean. Only criticism was the hair dryer. It only had one heat- very hot! We felt the food had improved from our last visit. It can be a bit repetitive but it was varied and hot dishes were served hot! This seemed to be done by constantly topping up with freshly cooked food. The main pool was clean, although the tiles are looking a bit worn in some areas. The indoor pool is lovely and warm but not too sure about the strange shaped seats. The Monica is on the sea front, a short walk from the town centre and the Balcon de Europa. Perfect for exploring the town. We hope to return soon.
"Standards still the best"
Another fantastic 10 night holiday. Everything was perfect. Staff, as ever, are so kind and friendly.once more we got the exact room we asked for (618) with perfect sea views with afternoon and evening sunshine. Pool bar restaurant serves great food and beverages at very reasonable prices. We have booked to return again next October but will try to squeeze another in before then 😉 Thanks to everyone at the Monica, you are like good friends to us !!
