Hotel Riu Palace Santa Maria

After going down the late booking route for our summer holidays RIU Palace, Santa Maria was where we went. The approach is beautiful and the gardens perfectly manicured. The entrance very grand and the main hall/reception and bars therein look bright, welcoming and very clean. The staff on reception give a comprehensive overview of the hotel, where things are, how to book extras such as the specialist restaurants, advising all to download the app to order items for your room. You don't have to lug your cases to the room, the bellboy will sort this andmyou can get on with whatever, in our case, evening meal as we arrived quite late, the restaurant being open till 10pm. The food hall is a huge buffet and you would struggle to find something you wouldn't eat. A wide selection all cooked really well and for me especially the vegetables which were colourful and crunchy. The selection that good that I ate both red and black caviar for the first time. The staff are very attentive and your table cleared quickly and efficiently and when you needed another drink they were there again. The rooms are a great size, the beds big, the bathrooms big and a normal and rain style shower with food pressure. For the first time ever there were drinks optics in the room, all included in the all inclusive package. The pools are big (three of them) and there are more than enough sunbeds, the hotel itself looking straight at the beach with stunning golden sands. All in all this is a stunning hotel, the staff are friendly, attentive and they were constantly cleaning the grounds and always engaged with you when you spoke to them. This place is a definite to visit

We stayed at the Hotel Riu Palace Santa Maria for a week as a family of four, and honestly, we couldn’t fault it. From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the whole resort was extremely well maintained. There was plenty to do, with a great choice of pools, activities and entertainment, so nobody was ever bored. The food was also excellent, with plenty of choice and something for everyone. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, helpful and always seemed happy to assist. What really stood out was how easy and relaxing the whole week was. Everything was well organised, the atmosphere was great and the hotel has everything you could want for a family holiday. We’ve stayed in plenty of hotels over the years, and this is definitely one we would happily return to. A fantastic week and a big thank you to all the staff at the Riu Palace Santa Maria for making our holiday so enjoyable. Highly recommended – we genuinely couldn’t fault it!
