"Great hotel right on the beach"
The location was breathtaking, right on the beach with stunning views , room was a bit small but had everything we needed and maid service was good also a bit of a damp smell due to humidity though, Food was plentiful and absolutely delicious can’t fault the food drinks also to a high standard. The addition of the coffee shop was lovely also , staff were attentive and pleasant, didn’t do many shows but they looked good , did do the neon party which was fun , I would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely hotel
"Beach Holiday at RIU Palace Santa Maria"
A beautiful beach location. Recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday. We chose a larger twin and a twin room as there were five of us travelling. Facilities in the room were good. However, it took five days for the automatic door card system to be fixed. The door lock just needed a new battery. Each time we left the room we had to get the card key reconfigured at reception, which got a bit tiresome. Also, whilst a mini fridge and small bar which included dark rum, white rum, vodka and gin was welcomed it did not get refilled every two days as promised, only once. The other guests travelling with us did not have either of these problems so I guess we were just unlucky, but consistency in service would be ideal. The bars around the hotel were comfortable, including a coffee bar, with plenty of variety and quality of service was good. Plenty of sun beds and complementary towels which could be changed frequently. The hotel was spaced out over a large area with two party nights at the neighbouring RIU hotel. The walk along the beach was lovely and peaceful. The food was really good with plenty of variety available over 24 hours. Would recommend.
