Hotel Riu Turquoise

We went there because all hotels around morne were fully booked in our dates and I understand why not this terrible hotel. Starting by the welcoming with unprofessional staff. The level of hygiene is so poor around the pool, the restaurant and the chef's uniforms oh my God! The coffee machines are also dirty and sticky. The food is horrible horrible not even 2 stars hotel. How can you serve frozen burger and nuggets in main restaurant (the cheap supermarketones)? During all meals! All Bakery was also from supermarket (cake croissant...) nothing is fresh home made. You find margarine instead of butter. Even in other bars and snack restaurant they offer same cheap food from supermarket! The desert is the disaster. Everything is so cheap and so disgusting (the juice oh my God even my kids they were disgusted). We never came across any supervisor or manager. Animation is so poor runned by unprofessional team. Kids club is also a fake. Horrible horrible and charging same as the very good hotels around. To avoid.

One of the Most Disappointing Hotel Experiences I Have Ever Had This was my second stay at Riu Turquoise, and the difference compared to my first visit was shocking. The hotel has deteriorated significantly and no longer reflects the standards expected from a resort of this category. From the moment we arrived, the lack of professionalism was evident. The reception team appeared overwhelmed and guest service was inconsistent and inattentive. The overall atmosphere was chaotic. There was constant noise, overcrowding, and numerous guests were heavily intoxicated. Seeing vomit in different areas of the hotel was unacceptable and completely ruined the relaxing environment that a holiday resort is supposed to provide. The buffet was equally disappointing. The food lacked variety, quality was poor, and the dining experience fell far below expectations. What was even more concerning was the absence of visible and effective management. It was extremely difficult to approach the Spanish manager, who seemed to spend most of his time on the phone and did not make any effort to acknowledge or greet guests. I also had the impression that his attention was directed primarily towards Spanish guests, leaving others feeling ignored. I was particularly saddened by the way some staff members appeared to be treated. The employees seemed to be doing their best to keep the hotel running despite obvious operational difficulties, yet the Spanish manager spoke to them in a manner that came across as harsh, disrespectful, and demoralising. The competent management team that was present when the hotel first opened appears to be gone, and unfortunately the decline in standards is visible everywhere. What was once a promising resort now feels poorly managed, overcrowded, and unable to deliver the level of service guests are paying for. Sadly, after this experience, I would not recommend Riu Turquoise and I certainly would not consider returning.
