"RIU Palace"
Our air conditioner did not work. Maintenance looked at it for us but did not fix the issue. Our room stayed 78-80 degrees and humid the entire week.

Service was Top Notch! Food varied depending on the night. Krystal, our favorite of the restaurants, has a salad with fried shrimp. The first night we ate there, the shrimp was over-cooked or old oil was used. The second time we went, with hesitation, the same dish had excellent shrimp on it. All other shrimp dishes in any of the restaurants were overcooked. the pool showed its age with the patches of sandy plaster missing and odd tile replacements that didn't match. The biggest issue we saw was the unmonitored children riding their scooters around the property, including the inside of the buffet restaurant. We booked late and went for the nicest room we could find. it was nice. But we will be going back to the adult-only, non-RIU resorts from now on.

You're only about 40 km away from paradise! The ride from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) usually takes 35 to 45 minutes, so you'll be swapping your travel clothes for a swimsuit in no time. It's a quick, easy breeze down the coast to get your vacation started.
