"Loud music till 3am"

Lovely hotel, but there is some music venue next to hotel that had authorization to play v v v loud music till 3am. The hotel staff say there is nothing they can do. I am normally fine with late night music, but 3am.. There is a heavy thumping base that kicks in every few minutes.. Omg I will never ever stay at this place ever again. The WiFi is also v v poor all over hotel. Great hotel overshadowed by these two, especially the late night music.

"5 star overall but food definitely not 5 star"

We stayed for 2 weeks in early October. I felt the hotel deserved 4.5 but of course you can only give either 4 or 5. The rooms were very clean with towels provided every day and the shower was very good (though it takes a while before settling at the right temperature). Plenty of sunbeds available and, while you needed to reserve them if you wanted a parasol, you didn’t have to be up at a ridiculous hour to reserve. The staff at the bar were very pleasant and helpful. As were the very hardworking entertainment team. With all inclusive there is always an element of getting fed up with it after a week or a week and a half. However even allowing for that the food was very much the same every night. It didn’t help that I had stomach cramps for 8 consecutive days (just one of these things) but my wife felt similarly about the food being the same I feel the restaurant would benefit from having different themed nights (maybe a section for Chinese one night, Indian another night, Mexican another night for example). The food was also not always as hot as it should have been. The coffee bar inside was lovely after a day in the sun and the cakes there were to die for. Overall a lovely hotel which just about meets its 5 star rating but would meet it more easily if the variety and warmth of the food was improved.
