Hotel Riu Palace Tikida Taghazout

We have just returned from a 10 day stay here in July, and it was absolutely amazing. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for us. A special mention goes to the bar staff, who would even bring drinks to our table and always went above and beyond. We'd also like to give a shout out to Oussama from the pool bar, who always took the time for a chat and a laugh, making our holiday even more enjoyable. The food was excellent in all of the restaurants, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. The à la carte restaurants were a real highlight, we tried all three, and they were all fantastic. It's brilliant that these are included as part of the stay. They also surprised my partner with a birthday cake and a bottle of prosecco one evening, which was a lovely touch. Our room was huge, had everything we needed, and was cleaned every day. We loved the different designs left on the bed each day. The minibar was also restocked daily with Sprite, Coke, Fanta, and water. Getting a sun lounger was never a problem. On a couple of days we didn't come down until late afternoon after being out in the morning and still had no trouble finding one. If you have a particular spot in mind, especially one of the day beds, it's worth getting there earlier as they fill up quickly. The entertainment was great too. We enjoyed the foam pool party during the day and the RIU White Party one evening, both were great fun. The only slight negative, although it didn't affect our overall experience, was after check out. There doesn’t seem to be any courtesy rooms, and it took a bit of persistence to get towels so we could use the showers in the indoor pool before leaving. Overall we had a fantastic stay, ignore the negative reviews and thanks again to all the staff.

We had the most amazing time at this hotel. EVERY member of staff go out their way to ensure you have the best holiday. Drinks were amazing and if you ask for something off the menu they will try their best to accommodate you. Rooms were massive and cleaned everyday. Soft drinks in mini fridge refilled daily. We don’t normally go back to hotels as like to try new ones but this is one we will definitely go back to. Outstanding.
