67 RIU hotels have been awarded by Tripadvisor

Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel platform, has announced the winners of the 2025 Travellers’ Choice Awards. A total of 67 RIU hotels in 18 countries have received awards: Germany (1), Aruba (1), Cape Verde (4), UAE (1), Spain (23), United States (4), Ireland (1), Jamaica (7), Maldives (1), Morocco (3), Mauritius (2), Mexico (13), Panama (1), Portugal (1), United Kingdom (1), Senegal (1), Sri Lanka (1), and Tanzania (1). In addition, 12 of these hotels have received the “Best of the Best” award, which identifies the best hotels among the top 1% of those listed on the digital platform.

This distinction recognises establishments that consistently receive excellent reviews and maintain a score between 4 and 5 throughout the year. The digital platform uses a proprietary algorithm that assesses the quality, quantity, and recency of the reviews and opinions submitted by users over a 12-month period, as well as the popularity rating of the destination. In this way, users can share their experiences and assess their stay, serving as a guide for future customers.

This distinction recognises the effort made by RIU hotel staff on a daily basis to provide good service, always focusing on achieving customer satisfaction.
