Seventh RIU Awards USA & Canada

RIU Hotels & Resorts has held the seventh RIU Awards to acknowledge the work of the chain’s best travel agents in the USA and Canada. This year, the event took place at the Riu Palace Bavaro in Punta Cana and was attended by representatives of 30 agencies from RIU's two main source markets in the Americas. The ceremony rewarded these professionals’ loyalty to the chain and their work to consolidate the brand's presence in both countries. During the event, RIU's Marketing and Sales team also presented all the latest developments, including refurbishments, openings and new services.

This year's top three agencies in each country were Inteletravel, Vacations To Go and All Inclusive Outlet from the United States and RedTag Vacation, Voyage à Rabis and Voyages Bergeron from Canada. Participating agencies received a handcrafted award made from sustainable wood and enjoyed a weekend in the hotel’s new and exclusive Elite Club rooms. What’s more, a special tour of the destination was organised together with top representatives from RIU’s Business Development team, including activities, surprises and gifts to reward their dedication.

RIU Award winners are selected from among the travel agents with the highest sales over the course of the previous year. Partners who’d like to be part of the 8th RIU Awards in 2025 need only to keep working with RIU and their mutual customers to plan their holidays.
