Hotel Riu Touareg 5*

A week spent at the end of February, first time in Boa Vista after several visits to Sal. So yes, the hotel is the furthest from the airport, there is absolutely nothing around, it’s a bit like an oasis in the desert, but the setting is super pleasant. Comfortable room, large bathroom with two sinks, shower, and free safe, We were not very far from the infinity pool, the best and quietest one. Very pretty beach, but it’s the truth, you absolutely cannot swim in the sea, too many waves, too much current, too much wind, permanent red flag. And even on days with moderate or light wind, forget it, far too dangerous, it’s really a shame, especially for us who love the sea. So, the pool which is right at the entrance to the beach, fortunately. However, the lounge chairs in the shade go quickly. The buffet was good, both at the large main restaurant and at the one near the beach, a decent selection and good quality. We serve ourselves drinks at the fountain. The bars have a list of all-inclusive cocktails and drinks, quite a few choices and not bad. The resort itself is pleasant and not that big, but big enough to walk around inside. If you like being isolated, this is the place for you, knowing that you can rent motorcycles, quads, cars, etc., and they come to pick you up at the hotel for excursions: we did the one by quad in the Viana desert.

Hotel overall good just few but. Food really good staff very friendly. It was few issues what i mentioned into manager and sadly they wasn't done anything with it and we was there for 11 nights. On kids area was lamp broken with sharp objects, as well on kids playground some of the facilities was broken and no secured from use and some of the signs was broken as well
