"Riu Republica Hotel"

We were a group of 12 friends. The hotels cleanliness was very poor, some mold in rooms and fairly dirty. Also the AC didnt work well at all. The service was poor, lack of organization and servers can be rude and tend to ignore you when serving. Not all staff members were bad, some were energetic and friendly. The quality of food was very poor, often served cold. The good spots were the pool and beach areas. The Jerk Chicken stand was really good.

"Lovely vacation"

This is a great resort because it provides options for different kinds of travellers. If you're a partier, there is always some kind of party or event to attend. If you want a more chill holiday, lots of places to relax. The beach is great and service was good. Lots of food options including for people with allergies or intolerances. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. Would return and recommend!
