"Lovely Holiday"
Firstly just to say the staff make this hotel what it is. This is by far not 5star. Location is not ideal, although if you’re happy to stay in the grounds and not travel that’s fine. The staff work effortlessly all day and night. Lovely people. The atmosphere is very good. Lots to do, value for money? Hmmm probably not. I’ve been to better places and paid less. Cleanliness is very high. Rooms are cleaned every single day as are the bed linen. Sun bed wars! You will need to get up no later than 0630 to get your towel on a bed. There is not enough to go round, seriously. Weather is amazing. Serious heat Rooms are big, ceiling fans, air con, fridge, coffee and tea. Fridge, hairdryer. Bottled water is free. Ask at the bar. Take your cups and get them filled at the bar. Can’t fault the food, very big variety. Make sure you take everything you need, the onsite shop is very limited. I did request pool view and other bits due to a birthday in our party, none were met. Quite let down there, even after requesting twice from TUI rep Would I return? Most prob not, only due to location and price.
"The hotel has lost a lot. It is not Riu quality"
This is the third time we have been to this hotel and it will be the last. It has lost a lot in food quality and activities. I do not understand what has happened, it has changed radically for the worse, the only thing that is saved is dinner which is acceptable, but breakfast and lunch are unacceptable. That said, the facilities remain very well maintained.

Hotel Riu Tikida Garden was originally built in 1990 and has been operated by RIU since 2011. To ensure a modern, refreshed experience, the property underwent a complete refurbishment in 2020/21.

Marrakech is a fantastic destination year-round. However, many guests find the spring and autumn months (March to May and September to November) particularly appealing due to the pleasant, warm temperatures that are perfect for both poolside lounging and city exploration.
