"Good and bad"
Super clean, they had an army of people constantly cleaning the entire facility. The downside was that we had to request a second room as the one we were given had cracked walls and unpainted ceiling fan. The second room was very good. The second thing I disliked was that the à la carte restaurants had no reservations you had to form a line as dirt come basis. This is not good for older people with mobility issues. We had to stick with the buffet every night.
"NEVER COME TO THIS HOTEL"
We paid for an ocean view and ended up looking at a construction site. A total disappointment! I do not recommend the Riu Playa Blanca hotel. Our experience was disappointing from the moment we entered: we paid for a room with an ocean view and, upon approaching the window, what we found was a view of a new construction site. It is outrageous to pay for something and receive something so different! Furthermore, from the beginning I requested two double beds, but they gave us a room with one double bed and a sofa. My son has to sleep on that sofa, when I specifically asked for two beds so that we could all rest comfortably. We are not asking for a favor: we are paying for a stay and we expect to receive what was contracted. It is unacceptable to start a vacation with this frustration. With what we are experiencing, my recommendation is clear: do not stay here. I would not choose this hotel again. A view of a construction site and a sofa for my son are very far from what I expected and what I paid for.
