"Fantastic Stay"
I would highly recommend this hotel. It has everything you could ask for. From the moment we walked in we felt relaxed and welcome! Lots of pools to choose from and plenty of sunbeds. Great entertainment options too with a hard working entertainment team. The food was great with lots of options to suit all tastes, including 4 speciality, restaurants, the grill being our favourite, where the wine was actually drinkable, unlike the Italian speciality restaurant - where it was like vinegar!! There was a nice mix of international people. Fantastic location with easy access to the beach. And of course the RIU party was a highlight of the stay. The hotel room was spotlessly clean and kept clean every day. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a fan as well as air-conditioning. It would be nice to have a child free sitting option (or over 8 or something) in the speciality restaurants as after 8pm some kids get ratty and it did ruin it a little. We would like to mention Adrian on Reception and Yadira and Cathayasa in the grill as fantastic staff members.

A very large hotel, managed to excellent standards. Buffet meals were top quality. Congratulations to the catering manager and his staff. All the many staff in the hotel, mainly Spanish, gave excellent service.

At what time does the breakfast service start at Hotel Riu Gran Canaria?

Breakfast is served at the main restaurant, Las Dunas, starting at 07:30. If you prefer a later or lighter start, we also offer a continental breakfast buffet at Pepe's Food from 10:30 to 12:00, and breakfast service at Amore Mio from 08:30 to 10:00.

Indulge in our special diets & gastronomic variety across our dining venues. We offer an excellent buffet restaurant with live cooking, as well as outstanding à la carte themed restaurants. For casual moments, you can relax at our pool bar, grab a hot drink at the café, watch games at the sports bar, or enjoy tasty snacks.
