We had a wonderful stay at the RIU Paraiso on Lanzarote and can recommend the hotel without reservation! 🌴☀️🍹
We were particularly impressed by the excellent organization of the entire facility. The management is really doing an excellent job here. The processes are well-thought-out, everything is well-structured, and the individual areas mesh perfectly. You notice immediately that a well-coordinated team is at work here.
The **cleanliness throughout the hotel** also deserves great praise. Whether public areas, restaurants, pool facilities, or rooms – everything was very well-maintained and clean. We were equally impressed by the staff, who were friendly, quick, and helpful to us everywhere. Regardless of whether at the bar, in the restaurant, or during room cleaning, you feel welcome as a guest at all times.
The breakfast is also particularly well-organized. The coffee is always brought directly to the table in a full pot. That is extremely practical and saves frequent refilling. At the same time, the service staff can concentrate on other tasks such as clearing and preparing the tables. You can get tea and other drinks yourself from the machines, and there are hardly any wait times.
**The food also really convinced us.** The selection is large, varied, and the dishes are fresh and delicious. We would especially like to highlight the beef offered, which was a nice red color and really delicious. Such quality is rarely found in many other hotels – a real highlight for us! 🥩👌 The buffet was constantly replenished, and cutlery as well as serving utensils were regularly replaced. As a result, everything made a clean and hygienic impression. Only with the seasoning could some dishes have used a bit more flavor.
We were also able to reserve the two specialty restaurants completely easily and without any problems. That also speaks for the good organization of the hotel.
At the bars, we particularly liked the fair line system. This way, the order is maintained and no one is overlooked. When there was a larger crowd, the staff was quickly increased, which kept waiting times pleasantly short. The cocktails were also very delicious and were prepared quickly. Another plus point: The beverage machines were accessible at all times, even outside of regular meal times, and were well-stocked. That is by no means a given in every hotel! 🍹
The pool areas were clean and well-maintained. We found the division into a pool area with entertainment and a quieter pool for guests who simply want to relax to be particularly well done. Although some lounge chairs were reserved here and there, fortunately, it remained within reasonable limits. Even around 9 a.m., we still easily found free lounge chairs in the shade.
In the evening, you could sit together comfortably in the main restaurant, play games, or enjoy the live performances. The only small point of criticism was the sometimes very high volume of some shows. During some performances, a normal conversation at the table was hardly possible anymore.
**Our conclusion:** The RIU Paraiso is an excellently organized, clean, and well-maintained hotel with excellent service, delicious food, and many thoughtful details that make for a pleasant vacation. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff as well as the smooth processes.
