What is the Pirate Festival?
The Pirate Festival is part of RiuLand, our children’s entertainment program, which introduced this exciting new feature in 2024. It is a themed day that transforms children into brave pirates and is held during the school holidays at Easter, summer, and Christmas. Every year, the Pirate Festival springs to life and fills the hotels with fun at these times of year. Music, dancing, performances and the larger-than-life Calú Pirata create a cheerful, family atmosphere where young and old alike can have fun together.
This family event takes place at three exclusive destinations: the Riu Santa Fe in Los Cabos, the Riu Resort in Punta Cana, and the Riu Caribe in Cancun.
