"Excellent family holiday would definitely recommend"
This hotel is amazing! We spent 10 days here and we can honestly say it’s one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. Very clean, great food, brilliant entertainment and the staff are lovely. Food was lovely always something for everyone and just what you would expect for all inclusive. I’ve got coeliac disease and always managed to find something and was never poorly. I made sure I was one of the first at the restaurant before everyone else to help the risk of cross contamination. My highlight of the holiday was that they did Gluten free beer if you asked at the bar. The entertainment on a night was good but the only thing I would say is that some nights it finished a little bit too early. The white party was brilliant they really do put on a brilliant night and work so hard to make sure everyone has a good time. We were also lucky enough to be there for the foam party as I think this is every 2 weeks. There was also activities during the day aqua aerobics/ yoga/ water polo/ volleyball / darts / football and bingo etc. Pools are all lovely. We stayed around the infinity pool more than any of the others and the only thing I would say is that it was freezing, it never really warmed up till well into the afternoon but it wasn’t a big deal to us. The 2 bottom pools were closed 4 times when we were there because of parents not being responsible and putting nappies on their children. It just ruined it for everyone else but it’s not the hotels fault at all they were straight on the ball to clean the pool. It could happen in any hotel. NO SUNBED WARS But you do need to be up before 9 if you want a decent bed if you’re not bothered where you want to be you will always find a bed. Rooms are lovely, we had 2 twin rooms next door to each other with a sea view and couldn’t have asked for anything better. Location is quiet but up the road there is a shopping centre and if you walk out the back gate (near the bottom pool) and walk up near the hard rock there is more shops/bars and restaurants. You can go for a little stroll along the sea front too. We went to Costa Adeje, las Americas and Siam park all 10 -15 mins away and cost 20 euros ish each way. We would definitely return.
"Life guard incident"
I had an awful encounter with a lifeguard. At the infinity pool we encountered a life guard who all day was blowing his whistle shouting at kids if they threw a ball or if People leaned slightly over a wall. As I know leaning over the infinity pool wall could well be a security risk this is not what happened. Me and my sister who are both under the age of 18 were in the pool by the wall minding are business while he was shouting at other kids. There was a group of teenagers who were messsing around but it was harmless .He then proceeded to get a security guard who had a weapon of some sort on his hip. He called me and my sister over in front of everyone for no reason and proceeded to shout when we refused. Me and my sister were so uncomfortable and confused as to what we did.We were also intimated as this guard was just staring at us. After the guard left I went up to the lifeguard and asked for his name in which he refused I then repeated my question in a nice matter he responded no and to ask reception. I went up to reception to make a complaint. I was greeted by head of the life guards who seemed to not take the compliant o board at all. She immediately said I saw you and what you did. Keeps mind we were on Sun loungers when she approached and not even in the pool. I was so taken back by this because it was clearly a mistake because we did absolutely nothing. I shared with her how he spoke to me, how he brought the security guard out to intimidate me and how in the whole pool of adults actually leaning over the edge and being distruptive he picked the two girls who didn’t have an adult accompanying them. She said it could have been a mix up as there was teenagers of the similar age there but offered no apology and the life guard had no consequences to what I know. Te I know this lifeguard has a job to do and it could have well been a mix up but I think he could have dealt with the situation a lot better, he could adjust his attitude and be mindful of how he presents to girls under the age of 18.
