How to organise a family trip.

There are four members of the Smith family: two parents and two children. The parents want all four of them to go on holiday, as this is when they can most enjoy being together as a family. They want to find a place where they can spend time with each other, but also somewhere where there is an entertainment option for their children. After an exhaustive search, they find several interesting possibilities. They think about going to the Canary Islands and staying at the Riu Buenavista, or Jamaica and going to the Riu Negril hotel, or even Panama and staying at the Riu Playa Blanca, where the little ones could enjoy themselves and make new friends at the RiuLand club, which really catches their attention. However, additional options pop up when the kids discover Splash Water World, a water park that is a delight for families and has the Smiths looking at hotels like the Riu Dunamar in Mexico and the Riu Funana in Cape Verde.

Where to travel as a couple?

Although all these options are very attractive, Mrs. Smith’s parents were telling them the other day that they had not seen the children for a long time and that they would love to spend two weeks in town with them so that the couple could enjoy a few days alone.

This idea sounds quite appealing to the Smiths, although it raises a new dilemma for them: where could they get that extra bit of privacy?

They had always wanted to go to Aruba or the Bahamas, and there are several options such as the Riu Palace Antilles and the Riu Palace Paradise Island. Adults-only hotels where you can switch off and enjoy a peaceful holiday as a couple. Definitely a plan that is hard to resist.

What are RIU’s all-inclusive hotels like?

But whether they choose one option or the other, they are very clear about one thing: they want to know beforehand how much the whole trip is going to cost so that they can work out the numbers and spend their days off without anything to worry about apart from enjoying themselves. They have to find the perfect place to stay within their budget and without sacrificing their longed-for holidays, as a couple or with the children – these days are sacred!

Is there a solution? What do all the hotels mentioned above have in common?

They are all-inclusive hotels!

This way, the Smiths will be able to plan their holiday, having paid for everything in advance and they will be able to enjoy all the hotel services without any limits. From their extensive culinary offer, to the wide range of activities available for both adults and children.

Although spending a few days away as a couple is very tempting, the Smiths have already made up their minds: they are going to take the family to one of RIU‘s all-inclusive hotels. We won’t tell you which one, we’ve been asked to keep it a secret
