Elite Club by RIU: the new concept for an exclusive vacation

What is Elite Club by RIU?

Elite Club is our new premium service that offers exclusive advantages such as rooms with the best views, personalised check in and late check out. But that’s not all! Guests who opt to enjoy this new service will receive special welcome gifts, access to premium drinks and aromatherapy in their room.

When was Elite Club created?

Elite Club first launched in 2022, with the opening of the Riu Palace Kukulkan hotel in Cancun, Mexico, and it was a runaway success! After the overwhelming response, we decided to expand it to a new destination, Punta Cana, at the Riu Palace Macao hotel, which, in addition to the usual benefits of this service, now has a new exclusive restaurant for Elite guests, where they can enjoy breakfast and a la carte dinners, as well as a private beach area with a bar service and premium drinks. And that’s not all… this December you can find Elite Club in new hotels!

Where can you find Elite Club?

Have you already visited our Riviera Nayarit hotels? Imagine being able to enjoy its stunning beaches and, on top of that… the benefits of the Elite Club! This is now possible at our Riu Palace Pacifico hotel. The hotel, which has been converted to an Adults Only establishment following its refurbishment, now boasts new exclusive zones, such as a private area on the beach with Balinese beds and the new Elite Club Lounge Bar, and guests can also check in using a special area reserved just for them.  Elite guests have access to premium brands in the hotel’s Sports Bar and can book special breakfasts and a la carte dinners at the new Elite Club restaurant. Last but not least, Elite guests visiting the Riu Palace Pacifico will have access to 62 rooms with privileged views.

And if you are thinking about enjoying your vacation in Jamaica, this will interest you! The Riu Palace Jamaica launches its Elite Club! The hotel, located in Jamaica’s Montego Bay area, has unique Elite Club areas and 42 rooms with the best ocean views. The hotel will offer guests who choose to sign up for the Elite Club service a private pool zone and a beach area, both with exclusive bar service.

If you thought that was all… wait until the end! The popularity of the Elite Club continues to grow and as a result further hotels are adding this premium service. The Riu Palace Baja California will be the first hotel in Los Cabos to launch Elite Club perks, featuring a total of 82 rooms with the best views located on the top floors of the building. In addition, Elite guests will be able to sunbathe in a private terrace area just for them, with bar service included. And as for next year’s news… we can tell you that the Riu Palace Bavaro hotel will also be offering this incredible experience to its guests.
