A historic achievement for our chain! We have migrated our environmental certification system to Ecostars, a prestigious international standard for hotel sustainability. Thanks to the coordinated effort of all our teams, we have managed to certify 100% of our hotels (with more than one year of operation) one year ahead of what was set in our strategic plan. 4. Zero tolerance towards child exploitation: Top Members in THE CODE (ECPAT)
Our ethical responsibility to destinations includes prioritising the protection of the most vulnerable groups. In key destinations such as Spain and Mexico, we have been recognised as Top Members of THE CODE (ECPAT), which reinforces our firm commitment against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in the tourism sector through the continuous training of our staff and the rigorous application of prevention protocols.
5. Energy transition: 90% electricity from renewable sources
Climate change demands urgent measures and our energy transition is already unstoppable. Currently, 90% of our electricity comes from certified renewable sources. This is possible thanks to the active implementation of our own photovoltaic generation systems in our establishments and the strategic signing of green energy contracts.
