RIU brings its 25th anniversary in Mexico to a close!

With this article we bring to an end an entire year of activities held to celebrate RIU’s 25th anniversary in Mexico. Over these months we have learned more about the country, shared some unforgettable moments, and above all, we have been remembering and honouring this magical land. We could not be prouder of this affectionate anniversary tribute. At the same time we are thrilled to see that all the initiatives have been enthusiastically received by the entire RIU family in Mexico.

As you know, last month we celebrated the final anniversary festivities at the Riu Plaza Guadalajara hotel, and as we told you in our last post, it was a resounding success! Of course we want you to know all the details so we are sharing a video where you can see everything that happened at the party!

We are also pleased to include the four moving speeches given during the dinner by Carmen Riu, CEO of RIU; Francisco Xavier Orendáin de Obeso, General Strategic Coordinator of Growth and Economic Development for the State of Jalisco; Claudia Vanessa Pérez Lamas, Secretary of Tourism for the State of Jalisco; and Miguel Torruco Marqués, Secretary of Tourism for the Mexican Government. It turned out to be a great evening that had been planned with all the enthusiasm it deserved. The mood was overflowing with smiles and positive energy. Everyone was happy and excited!
