RIU recognises its employees in Playa del Carmen with over 15 years on the job

At RIU, our staff is the cornerstone of our business philosophy: to provide our guests with the best service. That’s why at our hotels in Playa del Carmen, we wanted to recognise the efforts of the employees who have been with us for more than 15 years.

The work of these hotel employees is very important, as it is based on giving the customer the very best attention and service. So we reward the commitment shown by the employees who have been with us the longest in Playa del Carmen.

The Riu Yucatan, Riu Palace Mexico and Riu Playacar recently held a dinner with the honoured workers and their partners and family members. RIU presented them with a certificate as a memento of the evening, and we’ve put together this photo gallery to share this special event with all of you.

The people who make up the teams at our hotels are the ones responsible for transmitting to our customers the values of our brand. On this forum we would like to congratulate all of them for this honour and thank them for sharing our experience and know-how every day with the rest of us on the RIU team.

    i booked 5 rooms from end of august until beginning of Sept 2017, hurricane Harvey disrupted our trip for 3 days so we had to move our vacation 3 days later, things happen, but the hotel totally screwed us on the change! you would think they would be a little reasonable due to our airports in Houston totally shut down because of the flooding, but no they were uncaring. we lost the 20% discount from original booking, included transportation and the rate went up on 1 room. i spent $10,000, with that hotel and we have stayed at a Riu for 8 years in a row with at least 3 rooms each time. I will say that the bar and restaurant service was great but the customer service was poor. we had booked another stay with a sister hotel in November but I am cancelling and will never stay at any of the resorts they own.
