The before and after…of the Riu Palace Oasis!

The refurbishment of the Riu Palace Oasis was something we were all looking forward to. Now that it’s happened, we are delighted to be able to share with you the best photos of the new changes at the property. The comprehensive renovation of the hotel bedrooms, restaurants and public areas has enabled the Riu Palace Oasis to reclaim its five star status. Would you like to take a look?

Bedrooms

Following the refurbishment, the 415 bedrooms have been restyled in an understated and elegant way. The straight and simple lines of the furniture combine with decorative features that hark back to the sixties, the decade in which the original building was constructed.

Lobby

One of the areas where the change is most evident is the lobby, where the previous ceiling height of 2.20 metres has been converted to a spectacular 5 metres. Now, elegant and imposing white pillars have replaced the previous mirrored columns, creating a walkway that leads to reception covered by an impressive art installation. This is in the form of a skylight located in the centre of the lobby that emulates a monumental chandelier.

Here too, the decor and colours are more refined and elegant in line with the general renovation of the hotel.

Bars and restaurants

The style and decoration of the restaurants has been adapted to match with the other areas. The elegance of black and white has taken over from the previous browner tones as well as the addition of more modern and fresh decorative features. In the case of the main restaurant, a change can even be noted in the lighting, with sophisticated fittings that hang from the ceiling to present the food in a more refined way.

Swimming pools

The renovation has also reached the exterior areas, where the hotel has gone from having just one organic pool to boasting a total of four, one of them for children. Family fun is guaranteed!
