The latest to join this line of hotels is the highly anticipated Riu Plaza España, located in the former Edificio España in Madrid.

Luis Riu Güell, CEO of RIU Hotels & Resorts, has spent 35 years at the helm of the renovation and construction works of new hotels in the RIU group. To date, he has directed 123 projects. His next big step will be the opening of the Riu Plaza Espana, which will opening its doors very soon in 2019.
