Luis Riu, CEO of RIU Hotels & Resorts, approaches 2022 with hope. The chain ended 2021 with profits and plans to open new hotels in Senegal, Mexico and Zanzibar throughout this year. The chain is also preparing to enter Toronto, London and Chicago with the Riu Plaza segment in 2023.
