On Friday, 2 December, this new hotel in Costa Mujeres, a new RIU destination, opened the doors to its modern facilities, located 30 km from the hotel zone in Cancún. We are a party of 7 people who will be travelling to the Riu Dunamar in March. Unfortunately, we have become very concerned with the negative reviews we have been reading on Tripadvisor. It would help to know that the Riu Corporation is taking these comments seriously and trying to fix the problems (elevators not working, which is scary for guests with mobility issues and the quality of the food and drinks). The Riu Dunamar looks great. We were due to stay here end Feb 2018 but we’re advised to move to another Riu due to a Riu Palace being constructed next door. Have a e-mail from TUI warning us of noise from the nearby construction site. If its going to be nusiance during our travels to Rui Dunamar Hotel. Why is not mentioned during on-line booking. As a loyal Rui customer, first impressions will count. The reviews of the hotel are not promising too. Also, please, please provide tea/coffee making facilities in the modern hotel 2017!!

We are really looking forward to our two week stay at this new hotel. Having previously stayed at The Tequila, we caught the RIU bug and have visited The Palace’s in Playa Car and Puerto Vallarta a couple of times along with a long weekend in the Plaza Berlin and a two week break in Turkey.

Just returned from our stay at the RIU Resort. It was the most beautiful experience ever. We vacationed there for a wedding and it was everything and more than I expected. The hotel was impeccable and beautiful. What you see in the pictures is what you will see when you get there. The room are gorgeous, spacious and very clean. Not one complaint from me and I am very meticulous about cleanliness. The customer service was A1 everywhere. The food was great and the drinks were always plentiful. The wait staff was better than you could ever imagine. They were courteous, attentive and always available. Although tips and gratuities are included, they deserve an extra tip. So please set aside money for the service you receive. I would refer this hotel to all of my friends. I can’t wait to come back. Thanks for a beautiful experience…..LOVE IT !!

Where to Shop.. Hello My sister and I will be arriving at your Resort on the 10th of October. She is so excited it will be her first Trip out of the Country and I am happy to do this for her. We cant wait. I have read so many amazing things about this Beautiful Resort so much so that I forwent several others to visit YOU. My question is 1 of 2 where can I take her to do some shopping?
