Following the expansion, the Hotel Riu Republica has 300 new rooms, bringing the total to over 1382 modern rooms, all equipped with bathrobes, minibars, electronic safes and satellite TV. The best amenities to ensure that our guests enjoy their stay with us to the utmost.
And, what you were waiting for is here: the Hotel Riu Republica will have its own water park. For the exclusive use of hotel guests, Splash Water World will have four slides. Following the expansion, the resort has a total of eight marvellous swimming pools, three of them with swim-up bars and one covering 900 square metres.
As regards gastronomy, the Riu Republica has added three new restaurants to its culinary offer. The new wing of the hotel has its own buffet restaurant with the best and most varied international dishes, as always. The hotel has added another “Kulinarium”, with gourmet cuisine, the Indian restaurant “Taj Mahal”, and the first restaurant with Spanish specialities in RIU’s Caribbean hotels, “Olé”. The hotel also includes the Jerk Grill for barbecue on the beach, which is open every day at lunchtime. We’ve also expanded our beverage service, bringing the total number of bars to 10, one of which is open 24 hours a day. At night, as always, you’ll be able to enjoy the evening entertainment programme prepared by the animation team.
To complement the upgraded and modern amenities of the Riu Republica, you have RIU’s exclusive Adults-Only service with all its advantages: a welcome glass of Champagne, international beverages throughout the hotel, free WiFi in the rooms and all other areas, a bathrobe in the room, a special wine list, and a romantic dinner under the stars.

Is the water park adults only? We just booked Riu Palace and thought we had access to the waterpark too.

The Riu Republica is an adults only hotel and its Splash Water World is exclusive for hotel guests. If you have booked in the Riu Palace Macao or in the Riu Palace Bavaro, you have access to another Splash Water World. 🙂

We have been using riu hotels for 15 years , can’t fault them , booked for the riu palace Boa Vista in December looking forward to a brilliant holiday that will be our third this year to riu hotels , thank you never had a bad holiday with you .

This will be our 2nd time coming to the Riu Republica came July 2016 and will be coming July 2018. Is the water park included with the resort ? We have been to many Riu in different areas . Can’t wait to come back .

We have already stayed in your resorts and we did enjoy it.
It was in December 2016, between 8th and 15th (room 3003) and we are going
to come back again next April on the 15th at RIU REPUBLICA
During that stay, we are planing to get the visit of our son (adult)for one day
(not overnight) who will be working at this time in Punta Cana.
Are there any conditions or agreements for us to have our son as guest during
day time ?
