This is the before and after of Riu Paraiso Lanzarote

In 1993, RIU acquired the hotel Riu Paraiso Lanzarote located on the beachfront of the impressive Playa de los Pocillos in Lanzarote. The landscape surrounding this 4-star hotel is dominated by the sea, sand and absolute calm. In addition, the only buildings around the beach are low, white constructions that add that extra charm to this spot that will dazzle you as soon as you set foot on it.

After several years of welcoming clients, the hotel, with 24h All Inclusive service, needed a makeover and has now undergone the extensive refurbishment that we are presenting to you today. The facilities of the classic Riu Paraiso Lanzarote now feature the highest RIU quality standards. I’m sure you’re wondering what changes we’re going to surprise you with this time. A lobby imbued with light

Our first stop is the lobby. This space is so important as it is where you get the first taste of your holiday. As soon as you walk through the door you will notice one of the main changes that you will find throughout the hotel: a sense of spaciousness. The lobby is now brighter and more open. This is because of the natural light that floods in through the large windows and the new skylights that run the length of the room.

Modern and elegant rooms

In total, the hotel offers 597 rooms, now all completely updated. They are elegant with minimalist decor and furniture, all of which is new. All of them feature a mix of warm and cool tones that ensure greater comfort and better rest during your stay.

Gastronomy news!

Now it is the turn of one of the most important services of the hotel: the cuisine. We all know that satisfying all the requests of our stomachs is just as important as relaxing during our vacations. Admittedly, this need has always been more than covered at the hotel, but now guests will be able to enjoy delicious delicacies in much more modern spaces in the three eateries: the main restaurant “Los Pocillos”, the Asian “Yashima” and the Canarian “Yaiza”.

But that’s not all! In addition to the new look in the food and beverage zones, two new restaurants have been added to the outdoor area where you can enjoy grilled specialities. Both called “Pepe’s Food”, they are located in different parts of the hotel’s outdoor area.

Outdoor areas

Finally, we move to the outdoor areas designed for your absolute relaxation where there are six pools, two of which are ready to be enjoyed by the youngest members of the family. These have been completely replaced and are now a different size and shape. In addition, the surrounding sundecks have been enlarged so that you can show off your tan during and after your days of rest.
