      Look nice,cleaning is done wery poorly,mini fridge is refill every secon day,yup receive two bottles of water ,every two days.Beach is whole another story,people must avake four or five on morning to get a chair,to get to a beach you mus clim ten feet send dune.Bech is total catastrofa.I am here right now.

    Hi we have booked a holiday to the Rui Palace Macao for the 25th July 2016 for 2 weeks. I have been reading alot of reviews saying that the hotel will be undergoing some renovation work and that it will be closed for 2 months. Can you please tell me if this will affect our holiday will there be building work happening or in fact closure of the hotel. Also it is rumoured that it will change from an adult only to a family hotel can you please put my mind at ease and give me the true facts on what is happening at the hotel.     My new husband and I are looking to book the sensimar hotel for our honeymoon, can u up grade us into a beautiful honeymoon room where we can enjoy an amazing 2 weeks without our young children???
    This holiday is a once in a life time for us without the kids.
    Is the hotel also complete??? We are a bit confused as on trip advisor people have added pictures from 2015 and it looks the same as the computerised photos of the hotel.
    Is it worth booking with sensimar for our honeymoon.

    Hi. I am due to stay at the sensimar Bavaro in August. I booked with tui. Their website states that the hotel has 252 rooms. It also states that it has 3 pools and 5 restaurants. Can you tell me if any of those statements are true or are the restaurants shared with the other 750 rooms at the Rui republican? We specifically booked it because it was a small hotel.

    how is hotel management dealing with a beach chairs problem? Guests are reserving chairs at 5am every morning and not using them until noon. It looks like there is not enough beach chairs available for all the guests of this hotel. The hotel staff should remove all the towels if not used for over 1h.

    I have booked my bundle trip with expedia.com. after reading the bad reviews for this hotel from the food poisoning (raw food), sand dune (no infinity pool), electrical problems, no beach bar, only the steak house is a la carte (Italian and Asian are buffets) and that the hotel really seems like a 3 star I’m disappointed. I have called Expedia numerous times to switch hotels and they have been calling RIU Republica nonstop for me and cannot contact the hotel to waive the cancellation fee which I feel should be waved if the hotel was not advertised as it really is which is another reason why I want to switch. How could a huge travel agency not be able to get in touch with this hotel that’s odd and makes me further suspicious of the service here.

    Estimados, el siguiente escrito es para darles a conocer algunas de mis preocupaciones.

    Reservé en el mes de Marzo en el Riu República, estaba emocionada, hotel nuevo, 24 horas All Inclusive, solo adultos, maravilloso! mi viaje, con mi novio, comienza el 26 de Julio y la verdad con todas las críticas que he leído, he pensado en cancelar, ya he buscado hoteles (Majestic y Barceló son mis preferidos), pero aun espero que puedan mejorar, es mi esperanza, la verdad es he estado en un Hotel 5 estrellas antes en Cancun (Grand Park Royal), en un tour conocimos a una pareja mejicana que se hospedaba en un Riu en ese momento, que tenían membresía y todo, nos dieron excelentes recomendaciones, eso nos llevó a decidirnos por la cadena en Punta Cana. No quiero que esas expectativas vividas en un 5 estrellas y de las excelentes recomendaciones, se vean apagadas por un Hotel que se hace llamar 5 estrellas, pero por lo que dicen es con suerte 3.

    Una de mis principales preocupaciones es el 24 all inclusive que indican, y los comentarios dicen que en la noche es imposible conseguir algo de comida, o que no hay snack ni siquiera durante el día, que uno mismo tiene que utilizar un microondas (que creo que no se mantiene muy limpio) para calentarse algo de comida, si es que tienes suerte de encontrar algo dentro de los refrigeradores en el Sport Bar, un hotel 5 estrellas debe tener stands con variedad de comida, pizzas recién preparadas, hoy dogs o hamburguesas calientes con variedad de ingredientes para escoger, nachos con queso que alcanza para todos! No refrigeradores vacíos que a veces tienen comida, que no demuestran mayor preocupación, sobre todo si pregona su 24 HORAS ALL INCLUSIVE. No quiero cambiar de hotel, pero esto es algo mínimo que uno puede pedir, ya que no cuentan con Room Service. Si llego tarde o salgo de la Disco de noche, quiero tener donde comer algo!! Lo otro que me preocupa es el aseo en las habitaciones, que dicen que lo hacen muy tarde, entiendo que es un Hotel gigante, pero la cantidad de personal que se contrata debe ir acorde con esto, he leído que uno vuelve de almorzar y aun no está hecho.

    Les rogaría me indicaran si piensan hacer algún cambio respecto, sino para solo cambiar de Hotel. Se que esto se los deben haber repetido mil veces y que han hecho cambios positivos desde que abrieron, pero yo solo quiero una respuesta a mi inquietud, que por lo que he leído, no ha tenido mejoras.

    Can i ask if both hotels are adults only? as thomson state that the sensimar is adults only but only one pool and resturant are exclusive to the sensimar the rest are shared , so does that mean the rest of the hotel ( majority ) is NOT ADULTS ONLY as advertised as the republica is advertised as famly friendly?

    I have booked a two week stay with Thomson at the sensimar bavaro. I arrive in September. I am a little confused.. Is the Sensimar the Riu republica or are they different hotels? According to the pictures on the Thomson sight they are exactly the same as the Riu… Once we arrive will we be issued with Riu wristbands?     Dear Sir, Coming Saturday we will normally arrive at your hotel “Sensimar BavaRio”. I’m reading such a terrible (horrible comments) from Belgian customers who already visisted your hotel. I took contact with TUI, and they confirmed all complaints. I may cancel my holiday for free and now I want to talk to you. This is the second summer that I must cancel my holiday (2015 : Tunesie) and 2016 : for a bad service in a 5* hotel which is not clean, very basic, bad kitchen, no infinity pool bar, no drink service at the pool…a bad service. I do not want to fel sick.. This is the first time I booked a RIU hotel, but I’m really really afraid.. You really can not imagine who scared I am. It may be my last journey I can make. (due to illness).
    Now I want some confirmations from you. What can you offer me when I come saterday to your hotel.

    I nearly bought a wedding with 10 guests to Riu Bambu this weekend, only to see on an American website that it will be closed during the date I wanted to get married! (W/c May 8th). Why are Thomsons, First Choice and Thomas Cook not aware of this?

    This is Sogand and I am writing to make a formal complaint about my current experience here at Riu Republica. I arrived on July 28th and will be leaving on Aug 4th. The fan and AC in My room, 2008, doesn’t work. I went to reception and they passed me to the manager. I talked to him this morning and he said if you are not happy, make a complaint to your tour operator. The manager name was Ramon Castillo, he is Subdirector, but not only he didn’t fix our problem, also did he never tried to make our experience happy. This is very frustrating and unacceptable. This supposed to be a 5star resort!! Please advise.
