Luis Riu, CEO of RIU Hotels & Resorts, looks back on the opening of the second Riu Plaza hotel in London. The Riu Plaza The Westminster has been welcoming guests since January 2026. He does not rule out opening more new hotels in the British capital in the future.
Luis Riu, CEO of RIU Hotels, reveals the seven hotels in the chain that will undergo renovation projects this year. Luis Riu’s refurbishment plans will update properties located in the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Mexico and Jamaica among other destinations throughout the course of 2019.
This year Chinese New Year begins on 5 February initiating the celebration prior to the start of spring.
